Mr. Gowrishankar is a Blue Ocean Strategy expert with over 23 years of global experience and a strong track record of building innovative solutions across corporates, public sector and startups. He is the founding member and managing partner of Value Innovation Group offering innovation consulting and advisory to corporates, accelerators and startups.
He played an active role in designing and developing over 100 innovative, high-impact projects for the Malaysian public sector. Some of the projects have won the Prime Minister’s innovation award.

He was part of panel of judges for a national Social Entrepreneurship award in 2016 and has delivered speaker sessions on innovation and entrepreneurship at universities in Malaysia, Thailand and India.
Mr. Gowrishankar has been formally acknowledged for his contributions in the global best selling book “Blue Ocean Shift” by the authors Prof. W. Chan Kim and Renee Mauborgne.
He worked for over 10 years with a leading IT-consulting provider Infosys offering breakthrough solutions to clients in USA, Germany, Japan and Singapore. He has an MBA from INSEAD.

- Designing and supporting the set up and operations of Malaysia Global Innovation and Creativity Centre (MaGIC) – a leading accelerators in the region
- Conceptualizing various entrepreneurship related events such as 1Malaysia Entrepreneurs (1MET) bootcamp, Global Entrepreneurship Community Summit 2017, etc.
- Supporting local community developments through Actyvate programme that uses a crowdfunding platform to raise finance and partner with 1M4U for volunteers
